Moa Fern: Emotional Purification - Alchemical Spagyric
Moa (Psilotum nudum) is a fern-ally and has long been adopted into the Fern Pantheon. Our ancestors resourced this botanical as a alchemizing purge in order to purify. This purification process is both of the biological and esoteric.
Moa is a unique fern-ally in that it has no roots, and is therefore perpetually willing to move, clean house, wander, and shift. Traditionally, the spores were used as powders or ground up as a salve to apply to skin for absorption. Other methods were its fermentation for ingestion.
In a world shifting rapidly, we are required, as both spiritual and biological species, to purge and purify our auric field, or what I like to call our “emotional grid.” Many are not aware that, as a collective, we have deep seated attachments to shame and violence.
This medicinal is highly recommended to empaths and practitioners who are constantly in the auric field of many to whom they work with. We inherit the energy of those around us, and when we choose to engage and assist others in trauma resolution, it is very likely that we assume bits of that trauma ourselves. I was called to resource Moa as an individual medicinal (independent of the other Ferns) for this very reason, to purify, alchemize and purge residual traumas.
The spagyric method is true alchemy and is what makes a medicine an elixir or potion.
Extraction of medicinal is by way of the spagyric method, a truly pure alchemical process which encompasses the three alchemical elements: Sulphur (Soul), Mercury (Spirit) and Salt (Body). The most powerful form of the plant is its salt(body), this is what holds the botanicals actual DNA. After the the plant avatar(body) has been extracted it is removed from the liquid tincture and reduced to ash. The finest white ash, it’s crystals, is actually its DNA. We augment the tincture by adding the ash and allowing it to dissolve into the liquid. This is what makes a true medicine, or what is commonly referred to as a “potion,” or “elixir.” This form is more bioavailable, making the plant's compounds more potent and effective.
